The chosen time period is somewhat rare for animes since Japan did a lot of questionable stuff during this time period and actually still try to hide it today.I respect Senkou no Night Raid for being ballsy enough to address the Manchurian Incident, which remains controversial in East Asia almost eighty years later. anime night raid (Dishonored) with its 3 DDO monsters. And the "real death" mode when you pick a race. In this world you're dealing with your worst enemy – the Demon God King. It's a pretty brutal challenge, but not quite like I expected. Not only that, it's really easy to lose and take your chances. It's an enjoyable one, and one I can only recommend for those that want to avoid the grindiness part of it.
The Demon King itself is also quite a challenge. It's very difficult to kill with any skill and the enemy is much less manageable if you do manage to kill him too. There are many other Demon Lords involved, though, which are pretty easy to pick and manage. They are a lot harder to handle just because everyone wants to get kills.
There are, however, four different races:
Fusion: The three-toed demon, the Dragon-Type demon, and the White Demon Beast.
